MTAS strives to provide access to accredited coaches for all levels of riders in each of the riding disciplines.

To ensure sa

fety and so that junior riders know the rules of racing, Motorcycling Australia has created a Junior Coaching Program (JCP) for all riders aged 7 to under 16 who wish to obtain or renew a competition licence.

The JCP took effect on 1 July 2006 and applies to all current and potential junior riders aged between 7 and under 16 (7-U16) who wish to obtain or renew a competition licence.

Details of the JCP can also be found in the 'Kick Start – Getting Started In Junior Motorcycle Sport' booklet, which is typically distributed to clubs in mid-June, as well as chapter 3 of the Manual of Motorcycle Sport.

Coaches gain accreditation through local and Motorcycling Australia training programs.

Gaylene Guy is the person in charge of coaching in Tasmania and would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Gaylene is taking names and details of persons interested in upcoming Coaching Courses.  Please contact her if you are interested.

If you would like to have an accredited coach attend your club day or one on one coaching please contact Gaylene.
